Sébastien Lamontagne holds a bachelor's degree in classical percussion from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. He also holds a DESS from the University of Montreal in the same discipline under the teachings of Andrei Malashenko. He completed his drum training with musician Paul Brochu.
Mr. Lamontagne is a supernumerary percussionist in various formations such as the symphony orchestras of Montreal, Laval, Drummondville, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, the Orchester Métropolitain and the SMCQ.
