Established in 2002, the Foundation's purpose is to promote the cultural and educational activities of the Laurentian Music Camp and to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving students.
Thanks to the generosity of private donors, the Foundation offers partial scholarships each year to allow students with limited financial means to participate in advanced training.
Thanks also to the generosity of the public during the concerts, scholarships of excellence applicable to the following year are awarded each summer.
APPLICATION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINES:
STRINGS AND PIANO: APRIL 15, 2024
WINDS AND VOICE: MAY 15, 2024
Students in financial need who are OFFICIALLY REGISTERED at the Laurentian Music Camp may apply to the Foundation for a scholarship.
The application must be made in writing and include the following
- A resume outlining major musical achievements, degrees and studies (completed or in progress)
- A short text explaining why the foundation should grant its help
- Any document that may support the application (e.g. transcript from school attended, awards or prizes obtained, etc.)
Only complete applications will be evaluated by the Foundation's selection committee and a response will be sent as soon as possible after the application deadline.
