Raymond Dessaint

The Laurentian Music Center was founded in 1985 by Raymond Dessaints and Johanne Arel. It has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communications since 1997 as one of the three professional level music training camps in Quebec.

The Laurentian Music Center lies near the shores of lake St.Denis just 80km from Montreal in an inspiring setting at the foot of one of the highest peaks in the Laurentians.

Here, musicians with a solid background in their field can join intensive courses given by music tutors of an extraordinary calibre.

The Laurentian Music Center is recognized by La Fédération des Harmonies du Québec and several sessions and courses offered by the Laurentian Music Center are recognized by the Quebec Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Arts.
