Lyne Allard graduated with great distinction from the Montreal Conservatory of Music in the class of Johanne Arel and perfected her skills at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University under the tutelage of Denise Lupien.
Lyne played regularly with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra as an extra between 2007 and 2009. These two years on the Canadian west coast got her career off to a good start and the enriching experiences multiplied: she is a sought-after musician and performs as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician.
Lyne is currently Associate Second Violin Associate with the Metropolitan Orchestra, is a member of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and holds a position in the first violin section of the Longueuil Symphony Orchestra.
Lyne is also a teacher and founder of the cooperative of music teachers of Montreal, a social economy enterprise that has won several awards and distinctions.
