Eun Jung Park is a highly accomplished artist who plays an active role in Quebec’s choral scene as a conductor, chorister, and collaborative pianist.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, she studied piano and classical composition at Seoul National University, followed by a master’s degree in composition at Ewha Womans University. In 2017, she completed a master’s degree in choral conducting under the guidance of Robert Ingari at the University of Sherbrooke, where she also pursued a graduate diploma in piano performance with Professor Carmen Picard.
Since moving to Canada in 2008, Eun Jung has led numerous ensembles, including the choir and orchestra of the Methodist Korean Church of Montreal, the SLAVA Chamber Choir of Sherbrooke, the Sherbrooke Mass Gospel Choir, the Petite Chorale d’Eastman (a children’s choir), and the Trium Choir, which she co-founded. She also served as an assistant conductor to Julien Proulx for the Chœur de la Montagne in Beloeil and taught at the University of Sherbrooke as a vocal ensemble instructor during the 2022–2023 season.
Currently, Eun Jung is the Artistic Director of the Chœur des Enfants de Montréal and the Music Director of the Chœur symphonique de Sherbrooke. She is also a member of the Chœur de chambre du Québec and works as a collaborative pianist for classical music students and the master’s program in choral conducting at the University of Sherbrooke’s Longueuil campus.
