Laurence Neill-Poirier is an active clarinetist on the Montreal music scene, where she performs regularly with renowned ensembles such as Les Violons du Roy, I Musici, the Orchestre Metropolitain, the Filmharmonic Orchestra, the OPCM and many others.
She completed a Bachelor of Music degree with High Distinction from McGill University under the tutelage of Robert Crowley in 2010. The following year, she obtained a D.E.S.S. in orchestral repertoire from the Université de Montréal in the class of André Moisan. In 2012, she continued her studies at the University of Montreal under the direction of Martin Carpentier, and completed her master's degree in solo repertoire.
Since the beginning of her professional career, Laurence has participated in numerous recording and touring projects, both as a chamber and orchestral musician.
In addition to being in demand on the Quebec music scene, Laurence is an enthusiastic and committed teacher. She currently teaches at Collège Notre-Dame and at Joseph-François-Perrault School.
